| The centre acts like a “one stop shop” wherein any agency can access the data and information that it requires for gender sensitive planning, implementation and research. This is provided mainly through its information centre called Gender Data Bank (GDB). |

| Compilation and Analysis of Sex Disaggregated Data: |

| GDB is responsible for collecting, and classifying sex disaggregated data from various sources. A compilation of the data with analysis is made available on the website as well as in printed form at the centre. |

| This includes books, educational pamphlets, policy documents, government guidelines, handouts, newsletters, organizational reports, resource lists, research reports, study guides and training material, etc. |

| This includes flipchart displays, magnetic or chalkboard displays, photographs, posters, models, flannel graphs, wall charts, etc. |

These may include Audiotapes, videos, slide shows/presentations, CAL (Computer Aided Learning) materials, CDROM, interactive CDs, Multimedia programs, information available via email and Internet.
GDB provides lending, literature search, photocopying, referral services and document supply services to members and non-members. The centre office can furnish membership details upon request. |
